In this artwork, the artist depicts the ingathering of the exiles using acrylic, wax, and ink on paper. This piece represents the deepest desire of every Jew to return home, to the Land of Israel, the place imprinted with G-d’s personal royal seal. The artist drew her inspiration for this work from the verse in Devarim/Deuteronomy where Moshe hands over G-d’s promise that the Jewish people will be gathered back together from their places of exile to the Land of Israel. In exile, the Jews whose Torah, historical memories of names, dates and spiritual messages are scattered, yearn to return to the land of Israel and await the fulfilment of Hashem’s promise.
