Mayan Fuchs is a South African self-taught artist whose practice centres on mixed media and oil painting, with a particular passion for abstraction. She holds a degree in Graphic Design from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and works as a UX/UI designer while continuing to develop her artistic career. Through layered textures and expressive compositions, Mayan explores the relationship between emotion, movement, and form, creating works that encourage intuitive interpretation. Inspired by her Jewish heritage, she subtly weaves themes of faith, identity, and tradition into her contemporary artistic practice.
