Lori Bak was born in South Africa and has always been drawn to creating, exploring emotion, texture, and the beauty found in everyday life. Although she spent time living abroad, Johannesburg has remained her home, where she lives with her husband and two children. Having attended King David, her Jewish heritage and spirituality are recurring influences in her work. Lori’s art reflects a deep curiosity about process and imperfection, celebrating creativity as both a grounding and expressive force while exploring themes of identity, connection, and the beauty of the human experience.
