Fiona Couldridge was born in South Africa, and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. She is the recipient of the prestigious Royal Overseas League Scholarship, which enabled her to undertake an artist residency in Scotland, and has also received an ABSA Atelier Merit Award. Fiona has exhibited extensively and has presented a number of solo exhibitions in Johannesburg. Alongside her artistic practice, she is a dedicated educator and currently serves as the Senior Visual Art teacher at King David High School.
