Carla Chait is a Johannesburg-based artist who has been creating art throughout her life. Although she has no formal art training beyond high school, she has developed a diverse and expressive artistic practice across a wide range of media. Qualified as both a dietitian, with a specialisation in macrobiotics, and an English teacher, Carla brings a thoughtful and reflective perspective to her creative work. Her practice includes watercolour, graphite, ink, oil, silk-screen, and, most recently, cotton. Her artworks have been exhibited and sold through The White House Gallery and Head Interiors.
