About this piece
In Young Rebbe, the artist uses palette knife oil painting to portray the Lubavitcher Rebbe in his younger years with quiet determination and unwavering purpose. His gaze reflects a lifelong mission to bring Yiddishkeit to every Jew, inspiring a deeper connection to Jewish heritage, Judaism, and Hashem. The portrait honours the Rebbe’s mesirus nefesh—his selfless devotion to reaching every Jew, regardless of distance or circumstance. Rich, textured strokes convey strength, depth, and timeless dignity, reflecting a life dedicated to spreading G-dly light throughout the world.
