In these two artworks, representations of the blessing for the home gifted to many Jewish homes are depicted. Aside from the text arranged in a rough spiral, the heart and dove symbolise love and peace, and the images of eyes symbolise protection against the evil eye. While this blessing is often rendered on an amulet and hung in homes like a protection talisman, the artist wishes to portray the positive affirmations of the blessing to provide reassurance and comfort to viewers.
