In Illuminaries of Tradition (אורות של מסורה), the artist honours the dedication of religious Jews to the lifelong study of Torah. Executed in charcoal, the intricate detail and tonal depth reflect the reverence, discipline, and spirituality that accompany this sacred pursuit. The expressions of the young scholars convey genuine joy, purpose, and a profound sense of connection as they participate in an enduring tradition passed from generation to generation. Through this work, the artist celebrates the continuity of Jewish learning and the living bond between past, present, and future.
