In Morning Ritual, the artist transforms an everyday breakfast into a meditation on memory, comfort, and connection. A simple serving of avocado toast topped with a fried egg becomes more than an ordinary meal, inviting viewers to pause and appreciate the quiet significance of daily rituals. For some, it recalls peaceful mornings before the day begins; for others, it brings to mind shared meals, meaningful conversations, and moments of care expressed through food. By elevating the familiar, the artwork encourages us to recognise that the simplest routines often hold our most treasured memories and deepest human connections.
