In Yerushalayim, the artist portrays the city as a tapestry woven from layers of history, memory, faith, and the lived experiences of the Jewish people. Through delicate watercolour, handwritten text, and delicate floral floral motifs, the artwork reveals a city that honours the past, sanctifies the present, and inspires hope for the future. In response to the exhibition theme of Reframe, viewers are invited to look beyond familiar landmarks and discover the stories embedded within Yerushalayim’s streets, architecture, maps, and prayers. The artwork celebrates the eternal bond between Am Yisrael, the resting place of the Shechinah, and the hope for the rebuilding of the Beit HaMikdash.
