In this ceramic work, the artist has created a vessel which can be used as a vase, a Shabbat candelabra or simply as a decorative piece. The carving in relief is an artistic impression of the tree of life, which has many interpretations – the connection between heaven and earth, wisdom and knowledge, growth and stability. The shape of the vessel evokes the idea of a tree with the branches growing from an anchored earth root base upwards in two separate limbs, like a gesture of arms embracing the sky above.
