About this piece
In Jerusalem at Sunset, the artist portrays the Old City of Jerusalem using entirely recycled materials, transforming discarded objects into a celebration of beauty, renewal, and hope. The layered composition echoes the city’s ancient architecture, rich history, and enduring spiritual significance. Soft pastel and earthy tones create a sense of warmth, peace, and tranquillity, while the golden glow of sunset reflects Jerusalem’s unique light and sacred atmosphere. Through this work, the artist celebrates both the timeless beauty of Jerusalem and the power of creativity, sustainability, and giving new life to forgotten materials.
