In Dispelling the Darkness, the artist uses acrylic paint on mixed media paper to explore the Jewish value of finding joy even in times of challenge. Inspired by the belief that everything comes from Hashem and ultimately serves a greater purpose, the work celebrates gratitude, faith, and resilience. Music and dance become symbols of spiritual upliftment, while the dancers represent the strength and comfort found in community. Together, they create a shared light that overcomes darkness, reflecting hope, unity, and the enduring power of collective joy.
