About this piece
In Between Heaven and Stone, the artist explores the relationship between the physical and the spiritual through layered surfaces and subtle shifts in tone. The work evokes a landscape shaped by memory, time, and quiet contemplation, inviting viewers to reflect on the enduring relationship between place and faith. Rich textures and expressive mark-making reflects the tension between permanence and transience, creating a space where physical landscapes and inner experience meet.
