In Appreciation in Bloom, the artist transforms a simple vase of flowers into a celebration of gratitude, beauty, and everyday joy. Through vibrant colour and expressive brushwork, an ordinary subject becomes an invitation to pause and appreciate the richness of the present moment. Embracing the theme of REFRAME, the work encourages viewers to shift their perspective from what is absent to what is already before them, discovering wonder in the familiar. By celebrating the ordinary, the painting celebrates gratitude and the power of appreciation—showing that even the simplest subjects can inspire meaning, connection, and hope.
