Cookie Policy
Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 August 2026
This policy explains how the Malka Ella Fertility Fund website uses cookies and similar technologies, how consent works, and how you can change your choice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and consent-aware measurement signals. Some are necessary for the website to work; others help us understand how the website is used.
Essential technologies
Essential technologies support security, fraud and bot protection, consent preferences, WordPress login, bidder and customer accounts, forms, shopping baskets, checkout, payment returns, and load balancing. Providers involved in these functions may include WordPress, WooCommerce, Cloudways, Cloudflare, Complianz, Cloudflare Turnstile, PayFast, Gravity Forms, and our hosting and email providers. These technologies operate because they are necessary to provide a service you request or to protect the website.
Statistics and Google Analytics 4
With your statistics consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand website traffic and successful user journeys. Site Kit by Google places the production Google tag. GA4 Enhanced Measurement may record page views, scrolling, outbound clicks, site searches, file downloads, and video engagement. WooCommerce measurement may record product views, adding to basket, checkout, and purchases. We also record successful bidder registration, accepted bids, and successful application submissions as non-identifying events.
We do not send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, postal addresses, bidder or user identifiers, form answers, health or fertility information, order numbers, or bid amounts to GA4. Event-level data is retained for 14 months. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled initially.
Consent Mode
Google’s Advanced Consent Mode defaults analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalisation to denied. Before a choice, limited cookieless consent-state and measurement signals may be sent. Analytics cookies are enabled only after statistics consent. Advertising-related consent remains denied because Google Ads tracking is not currently used.
Who receives analytics data
Google processes GA4 data as our analytics provider. The GA4 account is administered on behalf of Malka Ella by our website agency, The Fancy Gadgeteer (Pty) Ltd, with access for authorised Malka Ella representatives and a documented handover path. Google and its service providers may process data outside South Africa under applicable contractual and organisational safeguards.
Your choices
The banner provides equally available Accept, Reject, and Preferences options. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent essential website functions. You can reopen the preferences panel using the “Manage consent” control, withdraw consent, or change your selection at any time. You can also remove cookies through your browser, although doing so may sign you out or empty your basket.
