In Lady in Blue, the artist continues an ongoing series of Street Walkers, inspired by ordinary people encountered in everyday life. Painted in oil on cut steel and mounted on a Perspex base, the sculpture depicts a street sweeper briefly glimpsed in passing. Viewed from behind, the figure becomes a symbol of transience, representing the countless anonymous individuals who quietly pass through our lives. Present for only a fleeting moment before disappearing from view, she invites reflection on the impermanence of human experience and the subtle, yet lasting impressions people leave behind, even after they have disappeared from sight.
