About this piece

In Fragmented Memory, the artist explores the way faith reshapes our understanding of life’s fragmented experiences. Inspired by Rabbi Shalom Arush’s The Garden of Emuna, these four intimate landscapes represent moments that appear separate, yet are united by Divine purpose. Gold threads weave through each scene, symbolising the hidden light of Hashem present even within uncertainty, loss, and unanswered questions. The fractured composition reflects the way memories are held in pieces, while emuna allows us to trust the greater picture beyond what we can see. Ultimately, this work invites viewers to find beauty, hope, and wholeness within life’s broken fragments.
