In Emerge, the artist depicts a vintage film camera with three developing exposures to reflect the intricate and often unpredictable journey of fertility. In traditional photography, a latent image exists long before it becomes visible, requiring patience, time, and the right conditions to emerge. Drawing on this process, the work embraces the theme of REFRAME, encouraging viewers to see periods of waiting not as emptiness, but as spaces of quiet transformation. Like a photograph gradually appearing, hope and new beginnings unfold in their own time—slowly, vulnerably, and beautifully coming into view.
