About this piece
In Love & Light, the artist presents a two-panel work as part of her ongoing exploration and reinterpretation of the traditional still life genre. Embracing the exhibition’s theme of REFRAME, the paintings draw on imagery inspired by the artist’s experience of Shabbat, offering a visual expression of light, hope, and warmth. Moving fluidly between figuration and abstraction, the work invites viewers to see familiar symbols through a renewed perspective, celebrating the beauty, spirituality, and quiet significance of everyday Jewish life.
