In Lagoon Landscape, the artist draws on vivid childhood memories to create a joyful and expressive interpretation of a much-loved place. Bold colour and dynamic brushwork evoke the freedom, warmth, and beauty of the lagoon, capturing its emotional significance rather than its physical detail. The painting celebrates the lasting impressions of childhood and the way treasured places continue to shape our identities. Through memory and colour, the work becomes a reflection on nostalgia, belonging, and the enduring connection between landscape and personal experience.
