About this piece
In Beneath the Surface, the artist invites encourages the viewers to look beyond first impressions and explore the deeper layers within themselves, others, and the world around them. Rather than accepting only what is immediately visible, the artwork encourages reflection on the unseen stories, emotions, and experiences that shape our perceptions. Created using acrylic on canvas with layers of painted paper and printmaking, the collage-like composition builds visual depth and complexity, mirroring the many hidden dimensions of identity and human experience.
