Shannen Shneier, born in Johannesburg in 1996, had the privilege to be educated at Hirsch Lyons Girls High, where she had the opportunity to hone her artistic abilities. Shannen, who has worked as an art teacher, both privately and at various Jewish Day Schools since 2015, completed her Fine Art degree in 2019. Shannen is currently the head of department of Art at King David Linksfield High School. She has been involved in various group exhibitions, this is her second time donating a piece to the Malka Ella Art Auction.
