Nicolene Joffe, who lives in Johannesburg, was born in South Africa in 1978 and completed her Fine Art at the University of Cape Town in 2000. Nicolene is a visual storyteller using mediums of painting, illustration and print. Throughout her career, Nicolene founder of the Judaica brand Hiddur which brings a unique way in beautifying mitzvot, has remained dedicated to making art to illuminate the beauty in this world. Nicolene has exhibited widely in the Daville Baillie Gallery, the Intoto Gallery and the Whitehouse Gallery. Her work is also represented in the Standard Chartered Private Collection in New York and in many private collections around the world.
