Joan Levin, a dedicated hobby potter for over 30 years, began her artistic journey with the guidance of esteemed potter Wendy Goldblatt. Under Wendy’s instruction, Joann discovered a true love for clay and now continues her craft at the All Things Clay studio with Edward Nyirend and Tiisetso Noko. For Joann, pottery is a magical experience, a process that brings healing and invites discovery. Joann believes working with clay has taught her to focus on the journey, rather than the finished product. Primarily a wheel potter, she has recently begun exploring handwork, creating pieces that reflect her Jewish heritage in beautiful, functional forms.
