Becky Romano-Helfon, who is 25 years old, has always been passionate about art. Growing up with an artist mother, Becky grew up creating all types of things, from jewellery to clay figures, with her and her brothers having access to endless materials and a space to create whatever they dreamed of. Together with her mother, Becky has embarked on a project of making portraits exclusively out of paper circles. In these pieces, Becky aims to portray rabbis in a modern way while still preserving their essence. She has found this project incredibly fulfilling as not only has she gained artistic skills and worked with her mother, but she has also learned a great deal about rabbis that she depicted.
